Chino
XL:
Chino
XL likes to put metaphors in his
songs. In one of Chino XL's
songs, he says "...or you
will get fucked like Tupac did
in jail." For the record,
it was Wendy Williams of Hot 97
in NYC who started that rumor.
This really pissed Tupac off. He
said if he see him, he would
beat his ass.
Q-Tip
(Tribe Called Quest):
Tupac
was mad cause Q-Tip was one of
the people who made underground
tapes dissin'. And he said his
homeboys seen a Puffy show, and
he talked a lot about unity, but
when they go back to New York,
him and Q-Tip made all these
underground tapes dissin' them.
Fuggees:
Tupac
said they just dissin' you on
the air on MTV. he said they
didn't personally dissed the
west coast, but when he started
saying California Love, and
someone asked them about that,
they said that's not true, cause
East Side is the best side. He
said he seen them too. And they
was talkin' about how much they
respect him and love him, but he
HATE THAT, because he be
serious. Tupac dissed them in
the unreleased song called "When
We Ride On Our Enemies"
He said:
"Heard
the Fuggees was tryin' to do
me, look bitch I got yo fate,
this ain't no muthafuckin'
movie... then we watch the
other 2 die slow, castrated,
entertainin' at my muthafuckin'
side show..."
We he says he let them know this
ain't no movie, he was talking
about their video for
"Killing Me Softly",
where they are filming at a
movie theatre.
Da
Brat:
This
was not a well known rival. But
Tupac dissed Da Brat 2 times in
unreleased songs. In the song "When
We Ride On Our Enemies",
he says:
"And
tell Da Brat to keep her
fuckin' mouth close, fuck
around and get tossed up by
the fuckin' Outlawz..."
He also disses her on "This
Is For My Niggas", he
says:
"Plus
now Da Brat's trippin', must
want a ass whippin', we be the
first ones to fuck with you
and Bad Boy whack
bitch..."
Wendy
Williams:
This
is the lady who started the
rumor about Tupac getting
fucked while he was in jail.
She is from the Radio station
HOT 97 in NYC. Tupac really
dissed her on the unreleased
song called "Y U Wanna
Turn On Me". The
interesting thing about this
is, in a interview on BET,
Tupac said something that made
you think, he said If I didn't
drop down to 2 big niggas with
guns, when he got shot in New
York, what makes you think
he's gonna drop his pants, and
give his entire Man-hood away
to 2 niggas WITHOUT guns??
Makes you think huh.
L.L
Cool J:
L.L
released a B-side song as kind
of a sequel to Biggie's B-side
"Who Shot Ya?"
called "I Shot Ya"
directed at Tupac where he
praises Mobb Deep for dissing
Tupac. This pissed Tupac off,
so he came back at L.L. Tupac
has an unreleased song called
"Little Homies"
where he takes shots at L.L.
He also dissed L.L on
"This Is For My Niggas",
he said:
..."Call
me a troublemaker, send me
to jail, but watch me bust
on L.L"
He also gave Tupac no respect
at the Grammy's after Tupac
was murdered. LL is Bad Boy
affiliated too because Puffy
was his management when he did
"Walking With A
Panther" and Puffy is
produced his new album.
Jay-Z:
He is
one of the only people to go
out and publically diss Tupac.
Jay Z does have his
connections with Bad Boy too.
He and Biggie were good
friends before Biggie's death,
and Jay Z appeared on Biggie's,
Lil Kim's, and Puffy's albums.
Now how the beef with Jay Z
started the only time Biggie
actually dissed Pac on record
was on his guest appearence on
Jay Z's album REASONABLE
DOUBT, the song was called "Brooklyn's
Finest." Then Tupac
dissed Jay Z back on
"Bomb First." This
song pointed at the beef with
Jay-Z coming from him sticking
up for Mobb Deep. Tupac disses
Jay-Z in a lot of unreleased
songs too, most-noteably
"All Out".
C.
Delores Tucker:
This
is an example of what Tupac
calls a Money Hungry Bitch.
She filed a $10 million
lawsuit against Tupac. She is
a virulent opponent of gangsta
rap. Tucker, who once labeled
Shakur's music
"pornographic smut,"
claimed lyrics on Tupac's 9
million-selling album
"All Eyez on Me"
were so demeaning that it
affected her sex life. Three
songs derisively mentioned
Tucker by name. On one,
"How Do U Want It,"
Shakur rapped: "DeLores
Tucker, you'se a motherfucker/Instead
of trying to help a nigga, you
destroy a brother", the
another song is "Wonda
why they call u Bitch."
The last song is at the end of
"Picture Me
Rollin'".
Jacques
Agnant:
In
the song released after his
death called "Against All
Odds", Tupac tells the
story of "a snitch named
Haitian Jack". The song
says Jack is stocky, light
skinned and has a Haitian
accent, all of which describes
Agnant. Agnant is on
probabtion after pleading
guilty to sexual misconduct in
a 1994 incident in which
Shakur was convicted of sexual
abuse of a woman who came to
his hotel room. Tupac believed
Agnant made a deal with
prosecutors at the rapper's
expense.
Tavis
Smiley:
Also
known as the B.E.T Tonight
man, can be seen at 8pm on
most weeknights. On his debut
show Tavis held a forum on the
life and death of Tupac and
from the very beginning of the
show he tried to defame and
portray Tupac as a thug out of
control. All he talked about
was how Tupac stayed in the
spotlight as a advocate for
violence and disrespect for
women. He had as guests
Russell Simmons from Def Jam
Comedy and Kevin Powell, a
writer for Vibe magazine.
Throughout the show, Tavis
continued to refute every
compliment that Mr. Simmons
mentioned about Tupac bringing
up all the negative aspects of
his life and music. Eventually
Mr. Simmons got fed up and
with one last comment he
blasted Tavis for his berating
of Tupac and hung up the phone
in the middle of the show
saying that he would not
continue to be apart of a show
that showed such disrespect
and called Tavis
"America's Favorite House
Nigger."
Tom
Joyner:
He
has a nationally syndicated
radio morning show that airs
in many large cities around
the world. He brings a lot of
well known and popular black
people on his show. The monday
following Tupac's death he and
his co-host (Jay Anthony
Brown) were really hard on
Tupac saying things like he
was a bad influence on the
younger generation and that
his fascination with death was
misleading his fans. They
would go on to say that it was
scary that so many people held
Tupac in such high regards and
loved him so much. As their
listeners phoned in their
opinions about how much they
would miss Tupac and how much
of an influence Tupac had on
their life, Tom and Jay would
belittle them and say that it
wasn't healthty for us to
believe in a man that only
advocated death and violence.
The only objective person and
somewhat of a comforter for
Tupac's fan was his other
co-host Syber Wilkes.
Blackstreet
Teddy
Riley and Aaron Hall were
partners (GUY) and worked on
the same beats. Teddy Riley
then incorporated those beats
in with Blackstreet and Aaron
Hall with Tupac. There is also
speculation that Dre stole
some of Tupac's beats and used
them when he worked with
Blackstreet and also when he
worked with Nas which could
explain the why there are
identical beats between some
of Tupac's and Nas's work.
